Precision surgical endodontics, including apicoectomy, for infection that persists after conventional treatment.
What is it?
Endodontic microsurgery — including periapical surgery and apicoectomy — treats infection around the root tip when it cannot be resolved through the crown of the tooth. It is performed under magnification with microsurgical instruments to work as conservatively as possible.

Who may benefit?
Patients whose infection persists after non-surgical treatment, or where conventional retreatment is not feasible. Assessment includes radiographs and, where indicated, 3D imaging.
